You can find the location of users using their IP address and a geo-location database or Web service but that is sometimes not very accurate.

An alternative is to use HTML5 geo-location API to determine the location of the user on the browser side if JavaScript is enabled and the access to that API is authorized by the user.

This class provides both solutions so you can use one or the other depending on what is possible.
